Stephanie Scawen is a life long print and television journalist, who has travelled extensively throughout East and South East Asia.
She experienced her first Multiple Sclerosis symptoms as she emigrated to Hong Kong in the mid 1990s, but has never let the diagnosis cramp her style. She became a qualified PADI scuba instructor and certifiable dive bore after diagnosis, as well as producing a raft of award winning tv shows and documentaries.
Being in a wheelchair has just made her life more challenging. It hasn’t stopped her travelling.
She now works as a disability consultant, freelance journalist and media trainer. She lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and hates the cold.
